John N. Hauk

John concentrates his practice in four areas of law: civil litigation, drainage and levee districts, divorce, and agricultural matters.

John’s civil litigation practice includes contract disputes, property and boundary disputes (adverse possession, easements, etc.), personal injury and appeals related thereto. His personal injury practice focuses on those injured in vehicular collisions, medical malpractice matters, and workplace injuries (workers’ compensation).

John represents multiple drainage districts in the Mississippi and Illinois River systems and assists them with all of their legal needs including annual compliance and litigation.

His divorce practice focuses on assisting clients with the property issues that arise in divorces, which often pairs him with farmers, medical professionals, business owners, or their spouses. He also assists clients in undergoing both complex and simple uncontested divorces and with drafting premarital/prenuptial agreements.

John’s agricultural practice includes real estate sales, leasing matters, drainage issues and related disputes.
