Jeffrey M. O’Brien

Jeff’s practice is concentrated in litigation, including civil disputes, criminal defense, and personal injury claims. He represents clients throughout Illinois and Missouri in a wide range of contested matters, with a particular focus on criminal proceedings, serious injury claims, and disputes involving contracts, real estate, and land.

Jeff represents individuals accused of criminal offenses in both Illinois and Missouri, handling cases ranging from traffic violations and DUI/DWI charges to drug offenses, violent crimes, and Class X felony prosecutions. He provides representation at every stage of the criminal process.

His civil litigation practice includes contract disputes, business disagreements, real estate and land-related conflicts, property damage claims, and other contested matters resolved through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.

In his personal injury practice, Jeff represents individuals injured in motor vehicle collisions, commercial trucking accidents, and workplace incidents. He assists clients in pursuing personal injury claims, wrongful death actions, and workers’ compensation benefits arising from injuries caused by the negligence or wrongful conduct of others.

In addition, Jeff assists clients with uncontested divorce proceedings.

Jeff grew up on a small family farm in Lewis County, Missouri.  In his free time, Jeff enjoys helping on the farm, spending time with family, golfing and watching his favorite sports teams.
